    • A little more about the NB505T glass bolts:
      • A medium-duty non-articulating glass bolt
      • Classic Stella tapered face
      • Used where there is more space wanted between glass and mounting surface (25mm)
  • Key Dimensions
    • Spider Fitting
      • Two arms (connected back to back)
      • Approximately 101mm from the centerline of the spider fixing to the outside face of glass when installed (distance will  change with glass thickness)
    • NB505 Non-articulating Bolt
      • 50mm diameter tapered face
      • M12 support bolt
      • Minimum 22mm [7/8”] diameter hole in glass
  • Suggested Applications
    • Used with smaller pieces of glass
      • Interior glass walls, infill panels or canopies with minimal or no snow or wind loadLoads created by positive or negative wind pressure (the blowing on or sucking in on glass).
      • Walls – Glass panels up to approximately 2.4m by 1.5m
      • Canopies – Glass panels up to approximately 1.5m by 0.8m
    • Side-mounting onto glass or metal fins
    • Monolithic and laminated glassConsists of two or more pieces of glass held together with an interlayer. In the event of a breakage, the interlayer holds the shards of glass together. Tempered laminated glass is required by most codes for overhead applications such as canopies and is recommended for situations where people could be injured by falling glass. from 10mm to 25mm thick
  • Loading Capabilities
    • Spider is capable of withstanding 0.8kN [180lbf] in plane and 1.5kN [337lbf] perpendicular to plane of glass
  • Materials
    • Stainless Steel Grade 304 (standard)
    • Stainless Steel Grade 316 (optional)
  • Finish
    • Similar to No. 4 Satin (standard)
