Part of the 7 Avenue LRT refurbishment, an existing 30 year old bridge was redone in a much lighter structure.

The expressive geometry of the steel support structure was created with a series of curved ribs which rotate from 90 degrees to 45 degrees, forming the hood at the north edge.

Stella’s design and articulating glass bolts were used to create the look of curved glass over the steel support at a fraction of the price; the industry-leading 7.5-degree rotation created the look of facetted glass.
