In collaboration with the project team, Stella created the glass support for this award-winning sculpture that solved all of these challenges. Our Work is Art!

In this stunning “Fish Icon” sculpture at Tsawwassen Mills Shopping Centre, the two leaping salmon represent historically important symbols of the Tsawwassen First Nations local culture (where the shopping centre is located) with the colourful glass representing fish scales.

Technical Facts

• Over 150 of our four-arm spider assemblies (complete with our glass bolts) were used to connect glass to the metal frame representing the fish bone structure
• Colourful dichroic glass spec – two lites of tempered 6mm clear glass with dichroic film by 3M
